I've always wanted to learn more about camping, not just your normal camping out of a truck or car but off an adventure bike! Last year I was fortunate enough to team of with Dusty Wessels of West38Moto, Matt Brummett and Heather Robertson of the Rule of Five Wilderness Company to get some training on both the bike and in the wilderness. We took a 4 day trip up to Northern New Mexico and stayed at the Rule iof Five and it was amazing! The land sits near the Back Road Discovery Route where you can ride an adventure bike all away across the state.  The location of the land was perfect to set up camp, set out and ride the mountains all day. The food was amazing and the accommodations were very comfortable and fun. Not only do you get to go out and ride the mountains and learn skills on your adventure bike, you get to come back to Ro5's homebase and learn wilderness skills from Matt and then the food!  The food was amazing, a variety of fresh vegetables, meats and awesome healthy breakfast. Other then the great training I received, the environment was so comfortable and informative, Dusty, Matt and Heather have such great open attitudes, great conversation, and they know their stuff!  But laid back as well, they made learning new outdoor skills so much fun. Now I feel I have the skills to be able to camp off my bike comfortably and head into the wilderness, be able to survive and have a blast at it!
