2. 1. Purpose of Policy.

We are committed to fair information practices and the protection of your privacy. We created this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Rule of Five website, and as you sign up for and engage in our offline courses (collectively, the “Service”). This Policy covers how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use our Service. All references to “we”, “us”, “our”, or “Rule of Five” refer to Rule of Five Wilderness Company, LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company. All references to “you”, “your”, or “user” refers to the end-user of the Service. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or want to discuss this Policy or our Service.

2. Information We Collect and How We Use It.

We only collect personally identifiable information that we need to provide the Service to you. We only collect information that you voluntarily provide us. And we only share your information with third parties to the extent necessary to provide you with the Service, or as required by law or for your safety.

When you enroll in a course through the Service, you will need to provide us with basic information about yourself, such as your name, phone number, email address, and physical address. After you provide such information, you will receive an email through a third party service containing a link to the legal documents that you are required to sign prior to the course, as well as a health information form that you must fill out to enroll in the course. We will have access to the completed documents and the information contained in those documents. The documents include personally identifiable information that we require to provide the Service, such as your name, phone number, email, physical address, age, various health information; as the name, phone number, and email for an emergency contact; and the name and phone number for your physician. These documents, and the information contained in the documents, will be stored electronically with a third party service. We will print hard copies of the health information and bring such information with us in the field during the course to ensure that our personnel are informed about your health and to provide to health professionals if necessary. We will destroy all hard copies of the documents after the course is completed, but the third parties described above may retain these documents.

In addition, you will need to provide payment through a third party payment platform. We will not receive or have access to your financial information.

Finally, we may offer a field on our website for you to provide us with your email address for the purpose of hearing about our courses and other new related to Rule of Five through newsletters. You may provide us with your email for this purpose at your discretion and can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Third Party Services Are Beyond Our Control.

As described above, our Service utilizes numerous third party services as part of the functionality of the Services, including but not limited to, information and file sharing services, payment processing partners, and others. Although we make efforts to select vendors that will respect and protect your privacy, we have no control over any third parties. Thus, we make no guarantees about, and assume no responsibility for, the information or services provided by third parties. We encourage you to visit any third parties to familiarize yourself with their privacy practices.

4. Changes to This Policy.

Rule of Five reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time, with or without notice to you. If you continue to use the Service, you consent to the new Policy. Rule of Five will always have the latest Policy posted on the Service.
